Quality of teaching

University of East Anglia’s policy is to continuously measure and improve its teaching standards to maintain its high ranking position.

The University has enjoyed considerable success in recent years in independent institutional audit, Teaching Quality Assessments and Subject Review by the Quality Assurance Agency.
The University has previously been graded ‘excellent’ for the quality of its teaching by the Agency in the following subjects:
• American Studies;
• Biological Sciences;
• Economics;
• Film Studies;
• History of Art;
• Law;
• Management;
• Mathematics;
• Philosophy;
• Politics;
• Other subjects allied to medicine.

In a recent audit, the Agency’s view of the University was that ‘broad confidence’ can be placed in its management of the quality of its academic programmes and the academic standards of its awards.

The Agency also commended the creative ways in which the University uses its intranet, email and virtual learning environments to gather teacher and student feedback to enhance the curriculum.

I planned to further my studies in Australia after my secondary education in Hong Kong. However, with the help of INTO University of East Anglia, I took the science foundation course in the UK last year. This year, I started MPharm at the University of East Anglia.
