Wide choice of subjects

University of East Anglia is made up of academic departments called Schools of Study, grouped into the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Science and Health.

The University’s modular degree structure means that students study self-contained modules. Many of the University’s Schools are interdisciplinary or multi-disciplinary, thus providing students with opportunities to combine specialist study with an interest in complementary subjects. Students therefore have the opportunity to specialise further or broaden their knowledge in other subjects. For instance, a science undergraduate could also take a language module, taught in an entirely separate School.

Studying at UEA has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. My career, work opportunities and personal life have improved as a direct consequence of undertaking postgraduate degrees here.
