East Anglia

This region is famous for its unspoilt countryside and waterways. There are many small villages and large stately homes to visit as well as miles of riverside walks and cycle paths, which can be found only a short distance from the city. A survey found that the region of East Anglia has the least crime, best health and amongst the highest employment rates in the country.

Norwich is only 30km from the sea, and the Norfolk coastline is home to wildlife sanctuaries, small market towns and traditional villages.

The region around Norwich has much to offer including the Norfolk Broads, immediately east of the city, where a series of rivers and lakes span the region. With miles of open countryside and rivers to explore it is easy to see why the area is a popular holiday destination for locals and tourists. The coast is just 20 minutes from Norwich with miles of stunning sandy beaches and cliffs providing a great opportunity for a break.

The University of East Anglia is the most beautiful campus I have ever seen. INTO classes are very interesting and the teachers are all very friendly. Norwich is quiet, and clean, so studying here makes me feel very comfortable.
