Orientation programme

On arrival, a comprehensive orientation programme is provided to welcome you as a new student and introduces you to studying at the INTO Centre and living in Norwich. The orientation programme includes a formal academic induction where students will be registered for their programme, take an English language placement test, receive their timetable and, for academic programmes, select their modules.

Students will participate in a tour of the University campus, including the location of the INTO Centre, the University library, shops, sports facilities, cafés, advice centres and travel centre. We will also introduce you to the city centre so that you can learn about the local transport system that connects the campus to Norwich city centre and where to find the best (and cheapest!) places to shop. During orientation there are also daily organised social activities to help new students settle into life at the Centre and meet other students.
