Academic English language support

English is at the core of this programme. It covers reading, writing, listening and speaking. The English language component is internally assessed and students need to achieve the equivalent of IELTS 6.5 to progress to a Master’s degree.

Study skills

An essential preparation for postgraduate university life, Study Skills helps students to develop the skills to work effectively in groups, present ideas, manage their time, make lecture notes, conduct research and write dissertations.
