INTO Academic programmes
INTO Foundation programmeThe INTO Foundation programme is designed for international students who have completed secondary schooling in their own country. It is for those who want to enter the first year of a university undergraduate degree and require further academic and English language development.
The programme prepares students for direct entry to first year undergraduate courses at University of East Anglia or other UK universities. On successful completion, students are awarded the University of East Anglia Foundation Certificate which, subject to acceptable grades for specific degree programmes, offers entry to most UK universities. The INTO Foundation programme is three terms in length, with start dates in September and January, leading into the first year of an undergraduate degree.
INTO Diploma programme
The INTO Diploma Programme is an advanced, one year programme of study leading to the award of the University of East Anglia International Diploma in either Business, Economics, Business Information Systems or Computing Science. The diploma is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree course.
Subject to specified grades, for particular degrees, successful completion of the diploma programme enables students to enter the second year of a relevant undergraduate degree course at University of East Anglia, or to apply for entry to similar degrees elsewhere.
Graduate Diploma programme
The INTO University of East Anglia Graduate Diploma is designed for international students who wish to study a postgraduate course at the Norwich Business School, the School of Economics, the School of Law,the School of Development Studies or the School of Politics, Social and International Studies. The programme includes English language development and academic preparation for postgraduate study. It is suitable for international students who wish to continue to study in their existing discipline or for students who wish to change disciplines.
On successful completion, students are awarded the INTO University of East Anglia Graduate Diploma in one of the following:
• Business Management
• Economics
• International Business Law
• Social Sciences.
Students who complete the INTO Graduate Diploma with the required grades are guaranteed a postgraduate place in the relevant School of Study. Start dates are in September and January and the programme is nine months in length.
