Location
The current INTO Centre comprises of several buildings located within the heart of the University's city-centre campus. The main focal point for INTO students is the Old Library Building, which backs onto the Quadrangle and is one of the oldest and most impressive parts of the University. The Old Library Building is the home to the Admission and Student Services team, as well as housing the Centre's language laboratories. Other teaching facilities are located close to the University's main Robinson Library using INTO dedicated classrooms in Windor Terrace and Claremont Bridge.
Teaching Facilities
Within the the Old Library Building English language students are taught within recently refurbished language laboratories and multimedia suite, which is equipped with SANAKO 300 language learning software and an interactive SMART Board. Dedicated INTO classrooms are used for lectures and seminars, whilst student's studying science subjects use the University's science laboratories for their practical classes.
Residential Facilities
Students currently studying with INTO have the option of living in dedicated INTO University accommodation. This includes Leazes Parade, which is one of the University's self-catered residences, approximately 15 minutes' walk from the main campus. The flats are typically arranged as four, five or six single study-bedrooms grouped around a shared kitchen and common room. Students can enjoy centrally heated, fully-furnished bedrooms complete with a study desk and internet access. All of the rooms have wash basins, while students share other bathroom facilities.
