Climate

The British weather is well known for being unpredictable and so is a common topic of conversation in the UK. There are four distinct seasons in the UK: Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer. International students who are used to tropical climates are often surprised by the sheer variety of weather in the UK; especially as you could be treated to rain, snow and glorious sunshine all in the course of the same day.  What you can look forward to in the way of rain, sun, temperature and even daylight hours depends upon where you choose to live.

For information about the UK weather including weather forecasts by location, visit the BBC weather website.

The INTO Centre's location on Newcastle University is fantastic as it is right next to the city centre.  Spending most of our time on the University campus during the week, we are able to access all of the excellent facilIties with real ease.
