Age requirement

17 years or above.  All students commencing courses on a published September start date mush be 17 years old by 31 December of that calendar year.  For all other start dates, students must be 17 years old on the published start date of the course

English language entry requirement

A minimum of IELTS 5.0 (with 5.0 in writing) is required with the following exception: students wishing to progress onto the degree programmes listed below, a minimum of IELTS 5.5 (with 5.0 in writing) for entry to the Foundation programme will be required: Animal Sciences, Food and Nutrition, Biochemistry, Biochemistry with Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Human Genetics, Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Pharmacology, Physiological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Materials and Process Engineering

Students who do not meet the minimum requirements can enrol on an INTO English Language course. Please check entry requirements with the INTO Admissions office or your educational agent

Academic entry requirement

Students need to have completed 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades, or show strong evidence of ability to successfully complete the programme, and progress to their chosen degree
