Social programme

A key feature of the course is the full social programme, which offers a series of organised events and activities to introduce students to the rich cultural life of Newcastle, the region and the UK. There is a team of social co-ordinators, many of whom are students from Newcastle, whose job it is to run the social programme. This typically consists of evening activities, such as sports nights, quiz nights or a Scottish Ceilidh, as well as day trips to nearby places of interest. Visits may be to famous cities within the region, including York and Edinburgh, to places of natural beauty such as the Lake District, or to places of historic interest such as Durham Cathedral and Beamish Open Air Museum.

Newcastle has a great location in the UK.  With its excellent transport links I have been able to visit other cities and learn even more about British culture.
