INTO Essential English Summer School

Summer School courses have been offered at Newcastle University for many years and are now well established and widely attended by students from a diverse range of countries and regions including: China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey and the Middle East.

The INTO Essential English Summer School is designed to improve students’ general English language proficiency for use in everyday situations, and their confidence in social communication. The course provides a stimulating, university environment to meet and learn with students from a variety of countries. Students can take advantage of the extensive University facilities and have the opportunity to experience local, regional and national culture through a programme of social and cultural activities. Our courses are suitable for students of all levels from elementary to advanced, with students grouped according to their language level.
