The Library

The main University library is at the centre of the campus and holds 1,200,000 volumes, over 3,000 print journal subscriptions and online access to over 19,500 e-journals and to newspaper and reference works. There is also an extensive audio visual section and special equipment for disabled users, including voice recognition packages and voice synthesisers.

In addition to the main library, individual departments hold specialist collections. Students are shown how to use the library during orientation and can attend follow-up courses during the term with the Library’s International Officer or another member of staff. Open 24 hours a day, the Library runs a comprehensive programme of face-to-face and online training on information search techniques, information resources in specific subject areas and journal and database searches, as well as drop-in sessions and surgeries.

I would recommend the Graduate Certificate in Management (with English) course because I think it shows international students how to study well in Britain.
