Is the INTO Diploma* programme validated or recognised?
The INTO Exeter Diploma programme is validated and quality assured by the University of Exeter and is a recognised qualification in the University’s Qualifications and Credit Framework. Successful completion of the programme leads to the award of a Certificate in Higher Education in line with the UK’s Framework for Higher Education and Qualifications (FHEQ). The INTO Diploma* programme is therefore a first step towards obtaining a recognised undergraduate qualification.

Key features
Intensive academic preparation
The Diploma programme is as academically challenging as a traditional first year course of a degree programme, so
students are given all the support they need to ensure success – small working groups, personal attention, English
language and study skills support.

Direct, assured university entrance
Students who successfully complete the INTO Diploma programme are guaranteed a second year degree place at the University of Exeter in appropriate subjects (subject to course requirements for specific degrees). The qualification also enables students to apply to other universities.

Academic content
There is one Diploma pathway set out on page 28 of the brochure, which enables students to enter the second year of one of the following degrees in the School of Business and Economics at the University of Exeter:
• BA Accounting and Finance
• BA Business and Accounting
• BA Business and Management
• BA Business Economics
• BA Business Studies
