Course content

The academic language and study skills modules focus on:
• academic listening and note-taking;
• academic writing;
• oral presentations;
• seminar discussions;
• academic reading and critical analysis of text;
• summarising;
• research and use of library and online resources.
In addition students spend five hours a week on language development which focuses on improving:
• grammar;
• vocabulary;
• pronunciation.
