Academic English and study skills modules
The majority of class hours focus on academic English and study skills, including:
• academic listening and note-taking;
• academic writing;
• oral presentations;
• seminar discussion;
• academic reading and critical analysis of text;
• summarising;
• research and using the library and online resources.
Core language module
Language development accounts for five hours per week and focuses on improving:
• grammar;
• vocabulary;
• pronunciation.
